– We’re pretty far
into our production. We’re actually into

where we need to get the gear but we also need to get
production insurance. – So let’s talk insurance. As I said before it’s one of those
unavoidable things in your budget that you’re definitely
going to need. There are three specific
type of insurances that you want to be aware of. First is your general liability. It covers all manners of
accidents, thefts. For instance, you have a c-stand
that scrapes against the wall. Well, that’s going to be an actual
cost for someone to actually fix and something that your general
liability insurance should cover. – So the insurance you
have right now is $500… covers a 1 million liability. – Liability
and…obviously damages. – Yes. Okay. – Definitely, plan on spending at least
10 percent of your budget on insurance. If your budget is
5000, square wave $500 just for general
liability insurance. Alright. Done! Now… This is a question
for you guys professionally. Do we need the workman’s comp? The second type of insurance
you want to be concerned with is your workman’s
compensation insurance. Many states mandate
that you have this if you’re going
to employ anybody but here’s a cost-saving tip. If you had less than
10 to 15 employees then you really sometimes can
employ independent contractors and wing it and save yourself just
a little bit of money. Use your best judgment here. You know, that’s the only thing – do we…
is it worth the risk? Did you have it?
– I never had it. – So we decided because we
only had five actors on set and a crew of less than 10 we’d forego the workman’s comp. And then definitely concentrate
under general liability as well as the
equipment insurance. On a side note. Errors and omissions insurance
is another type of insurance you might hear pop up in conversations
regarding film production. This is something that suited
for copyright infringement or plagiarism claims. Something that independent
filmmakers don’t really need to be concerned about unless they intend to
sell their film later. The development cost is
legal, copyright, W.G.A. – He can pay for
his script later. – So the next insurance you
want to concern yourself with is rented equipment or
inland marine insurance. Rented equipment insurance covers
any equipment from any rental houses and even peer to peer companies. And it covers any
loss, theft or damage. Most rental house won’t even talk to
you without a policy already in order. The easiest way to secure
insurance for your production is through a broker. “Film Emporium” is a great one. “Athos” is excellent. So it is paramount importance that you have that rented
equipment insurance before you go and pick
up your equipment. – So the thing is you have to
send in the insurance for them, like, a week in advance. So they can approve the
insurance and then you can rent. – Marvin decided to ask me if we’d had insurance
already and… Well,
I can’t really get insurance if I don’t know
what I’m ensuring. Things got a little heated in the…
in the moment in our discussion. – Marvin,
he wanted a specific camera budget. We weren’t sure how much
that was going to be because we didn’t know
how much money we’d have after spending our money on
our production insurance. So you can see how, you couldn’t do one
without the other but then you couldn’t
do one without the other and it was becoming this
whole whirlwind situation. – So I just want to make sure
that the insurance we’re getting meets the ShareGrid
requirements. Right? – So, you don’t know what you’re
getting from ShareGrid yet, but we need to insure
them…for what? I’d already asked for a gear list
from our crew, our D.P. and well, there wasn’t one yet and I
was being asked for insurance. You know, I can’t do anything
until they do their job and then I can do mine
and make it easier. You’ve got to have
that gear list before you can get insurance. – Yeah. So we need to get the
insurance locked in as soon as possible because they need to approve it before they can even
improve the rental request. – Again – in order for me to
actually get the insurance… they want to know what they are insuring
and how much it’s worth. – Right. We need to have this conversation
to know how much money I have. So that’s what we need. – Well, that’s what he
needs to do ShareGrid. – I’m feeling some

diplomatically as possible. But when you’re asking

What different PHOTOGRAPHY FILTERS do and why you need them!

What different PHOTOGRAPHY FILTERS do and why you need them!

Today I’m going to talk about filters in
photography and which ones I recommend there are many filters in photography
from the ones that screw on to the front of your lenses magnetic ones that click
on really quickly right through to ones that use special brackets so you can
slide them down in front of your lens I’m going to show you each of them what
they do and how they will change your photos the first one I’m going to show
you is the UV filter this is a clear filter and it’s meant to cut out
ultraviolet light if you’ve ever been into a shop to buy a lens they will
usually try to sell you a UV filter to go with your new lens but I’m not sure
it’s such a good purchase UV filters used to be practical for film cameras as
a lot of film stock is sensitive to UV light I remember I had one for my EOS 5d
but nowadays digital sensors can cope with UV light a lot better now I
understand the principle of having one to protect your front element but
nowadays these front elements are pretty robust and can withstand quite a bit of
weather we normally take them out in without getting damaged and as most of
us photographers are pretty precious about our kit it is in safe hands well
most of the time anyway also if you have a lens hood on the camera this will
offer a bit of protection I’ve dropped a lens before and the lens hood broke but
the lens didn’t one thing I don’t like about UV filters is that it’s another
piece of glass in between your subject and your sensor and this really doesn’t
have to be there especially the really cheap ones that are available online so
in most circumstances I don’t use one the one lens I do use them with when the
weather is really bad or if I’m out in the desert when it’s really windy is the
Tamron 17 to 28 millimeter this has a groove around the front element that is
the perfect place for dust sand and dirt to catch so I don’t take any chances
with this especially in the desert now an ND filter is a neutral density filter
this means it should be neutral in the color cast and we’ll have a different
density depending on what filter you get or basically will cut out a
certain amount of light from getting to your sensor the perfect analogy for this
is that it’s like a pair of sunglasses for your camera now I really do like
fixed nd filters and have a whole host of them for my camera they can do
anything from letting you open up the aperture in the middle of the day whilst
controlling your shutter speed they can get rid of people in your travel photos
and they can also slow down your shutter speed enough to blur any kind of
movement in your shots they come in varying strengths from a one stop filter
right through to a 15 stop filter and beyond a one stop filter will reduce
your shutter speed by one stop of light so for example if you have a shutter
speed of one one-thousandth of a second you’ll cut it down to one 500th of a
second so having the amount of light a 10 stop filter will reduce it from one
one thousandth of a second to one second and a fifteen stop filter will reduce it
from one one thousandth of a second to thirty seconds so having a range of
these is well worth it and you can really do so much with them I have a
three stop a full stop a six stop in a 10 stop ND filter and these give me
everything that I need now the more expensive ones tend to be closer to
having a neutral color whereas the cheaper ones sometimes produce a bit of
a color cast and it can be really hard to remove when you’re editing your
photos now if you haven’t seen it already check out Mack Rangers test that
he did on 10 stop nd filters I’ve got a link in the I in the corner and in the
description he had around about 15 different Indies so it’s well worth
watching I have the magnetic filters from free well and they’re pretty good
value for money and really quick to use as well the kind of middle of the range
cost wise and are as neutral as I’ve seen especially with their ten stop nd
filters but there are many other reputable brands out there I definitely
recommend getting at least a couple of nd filters and I’d start off with say a
four stop and a 10 stop ND filter a graduated filter is a filter that has
half Clair glass and half darkened so you can see on this one the bottom half
is clear and the top half has the nd in it now these are slightly more
specialized filters and a great when you have a
rate horizon and a bright sky in this example I have the Sun setting and if I
was to just take a photo of this scene without the filter the sky would be
overexposed or the ground would be underexposed with a graduated filter
they normally work best in these filter brackets
once you have framed up your shot you can slide the filter into place and drop
the exposure of the sky you can get the border between the clear glass and the
ND piece of glass exactly where you want it in your frame and that’s where these
brackets really come in handy this will give you a better overall exposure
bringing the sky and the land closer together and within the dynamic range of
your camera if you’re not sure what dynamic range is click on the eye in the
corner or the link in the description to my quick video on that subject
now these grad filters are great when the horizon is flat but when something
does protrude into the sky or when you’re in the mountains and the line
between the darker and the brighter parts of your image aren’t flat you’ll
run into problems also if you are going to get these I’d recommend the bracketed
ones over the screw on ones as with the bracketed ones you can put the horizon
exactly where you want the next filter I’m going to talk about is the polarizer
and this is a filter that will restrict the amount of polarized light coming
into your camera they normally rotate and so you can change the intensity of
this filter I’ve done a video on these already so if you haven’t seen it yet
click on the eye in the corner or the link in the description you can create
more saturated colors in your photos it can deepen the blues in the sky as well
as reducing the amount of light reflected from shiny surfaces if we look
at these leaves you can see them with and without a polarizer you can also use
them when photographing through glass if there is a bit of glare on that glass
normally a polarizer will get rid of this generally a polarizing filter works
best at 90 degrees to the direction of the sunrays it is one of those filters
where you do need to be a little bit picky about when you use it but when you
get the hang of it it’s really good filter and I do
recommend getting one a variable ND filter does the same as a normal fixed
ND and the only difference is that when you
rotate it it darkens or lightens the shot so I have these two different ones
I have this one from Tiffin and these ones from free well the Tiffin is good
from about one to five stops but does have a slightly blue color cast also it
doesn’t have hard stops and if you go beyond five stops you’ll tend to get
this X pattern appearing in your shots and it does make them unusable now if
you see companies claiming that their nd filters don’t have this X pattern be
very wary of them unless they have the hard stop like these free well ones or
the Pizza MacKinnon polar probe variable n DS you can see with this one as I turn
it it stops me from turning it too far so this means it won’t go into that bit
of polarization where you get that X pattern in your images the two pieces of
glass in a variable nd are polarized and when you do rotate them it reduces or
increases the amount of light depending on which way you do rotate them so with
these you will get a bit of a color shift due to this polarization now the
benefits of a variable nd that you only have to have two filters and you can
cover most bases with this set from free well I can cover anything from a two
stop to a nine stop reduction now I don’t recommend getting ones without
hard stops as it’s so easy to go into that X pattern especially when you’re
rushing around trying to get that shot really quickly if you are a photographer
I’d still recommend getting fixed nd filters over the variable ones as you’re
only shooting through one piece of glass now if you’re a videographer variable ND
filters are great and you can keep your shutter down following that 180 degrees
shutter rule you can also use it to have a wide aperture in the middle of the day
to get that shallow depth of field look and more importantly you can adjust them
subtly as the exposure changes whilst you’re filming now there are things like
starburst filters and colored filters but these seem a little bit gimmicky so
the filter list that I’ve just gone through are the only ones that I’d
recommend for photography and videography now one last thing you will
need a place to put them all most companies do supply them with individual
cases but if you have these in your bag they’ll rattle around and they’ll
quickly take up space so I’d recommend getting a pouch of some kind now I have
this third-party pouch and it’s perfect for me
I can slot all of my filters in there and I can access them really quickly and
these are nice soft padded pouches if you want to get one of these I’ve linked
it in the description below now do you think I’ve missed any out or are there
any other filters do you think that I could benefit from let me know in the
comments below it’d be great to hear your thoughts and
if you like this video try this video next it’s Mack Rangers massive ND filter
test if you’ve seen it check out my waterfall video down here and if you
haven’t already remember to subscribe to my channel for weekly tutorials on
photography thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time

Diseño de ropa 3D con Marvelous Designer – Curso online de Bernat Casasnovas

Diseño de ropa 3D con Marvelous Designer – Curso online de Bernat Casasnovas

Hi, I’m Bernat Casanovas,
also known as Bernat in Motion. I’m a 3D designer
specializing in motion graphics. I work with clients
such as Benefit San Francisco and the Orchid Creation agency,
doing projects for Google, YouTube and Nickelodeon. I enjoy creating pieces
that bring out a smile in the viewer. Thanks to this, I won
the Best Young Talent Award of the BassAwards
for my work “Crazy World.” To observe my surroundings
and be able to unleash my creativity in 3D design allows me to do what I like:
modeling, illuminating and texturing. Marvelous Designer
is designed specifically for the creation
of digital fabric and clothes. You can replicate fabric textures
and physical properties to the last button, fold and accessory. Its new pattern-based approach has been adopted
by the best video game design studios, and it can be seen in animated movies. In the future
it will also be an essential tool for fashion design. In this Domestika course,
I’ll show you how to design clothes for a cyberpunk character
with Marvelous Designer. We’ll create the costumes
and simulate the flow of the fabrics with the character animation. As final project, you’ll dress
a character from head to toe using your favorite aesthetic. First, we’ll navigate
the Marvelous Designer interface, we’ll configure the gizmo
and we’ll talk about the 2D y 3D views. Then we’ll do some tests to learn about the most common tools and you’ll learn
to do strokes and sewing. The next step will be the basic shapes, and we’ll learn
the basic concepts of physics. We’ll create a mood board
with cyberpunk images and different textures. We’ll import an animation
from Cinema 4D to Marvelous Designer. Then we’ll draw the garments. First, the pants and T-shirt, and then the jacket and kerchief. We’ll work on details
like cut and texture. We’ll select and apply textures and, before we export to Cinema 4D,
I’ll explain the animation menu. We’ll check
that the clothes work correctly. We’ll create textures in Cinema 4D,
we’ll set up a lighting set, and add hair to the character. I’ll show you how to position
three cameras and configure the render to export it to After Effects
and add the final touches. When you finish, you’ll be able
to design clothes and fabric in 3D. For this course, you don’t need
any knowledge of 3D, but it will be useful to know
Cinema 4D and After Effects. You’ll also need a rendering engine. You can use the one
that comes with Cinema 4D. This course is aimed at anybody wanting to start off
with Marvelous Designer to design and model clothes
and fabric for their characters. Create your own clothing designs
and dress your characters with style. Clothing Design with Marvelous Designer

I PAINTED OVER One of My OLD Paintings…?? | 12 Days of Giving

I PAINTED OVER One of My OLD Paintings…?? | 12 Days of Giving

Hello there! So I am very excited for today’s video for a number of different reasons. First of all, I am gonna be repainting over the top of one of my pieces from a couple of years ago, and I know some of you are gonna love this idea and some of you are gonna hate this idea, but it’s okay. I have my reasons and I’ll explain them later on. However, one of the reasons why I’m so excited for today’s video is because one of my favorite stores approached me, BoxLunch, *Christmas music* *Rae laughing* and asked if I wanted to be one of 12 YouTubers who are part of their 12 Days of Giving event, and what this means is for every view that this video gets, over the next week they are gonna be donating one meal to feeding America, so we have the potential to donate thousands and thousands of meals! So thank you for watching right now. Please give this video a thumbs up too, because it’ll really help to get it out into the algorithm to help get as many views as we can, but thank you so much to BoxLunch for this amazing opportunity. Thank you so much for sponsoring this video today. *Christmas music* *Rae laughing* The painting that I decided to paint over today was very very fitting and it was actually inspired by this particular store and the items they sell, and it’s always been kind of a dream of mine to be able to make merch for them. It’s just a little bit of a dream of mine. In fact, I think I owe it to you to show you exactly what BoxLunch is, why I love it so much and how I get when I’m in my, my element, so… yeah. Hello there! I am currently in the BoxLunch store. BoxLunch is actually donating one meal for every $10 that you spend in their store to feeding America. I’m currently in the Florida Mall and in Florida, one in seven people struggle with hunger and the fact that BoxLunch are going to be giving back is so important. So this is my personal favorite corner of the BoxLunch store. As you can see, it has… I love Wall-E. I don’t know what to say because Americans call it a fanny pack and in the UK, that’s… *Awkward silence* So every $10 that you spend in BoxLunch donates one meal to feeding America. This sweater, for example, if you purchase this, you’d be donating 4 meals. BoxLunch is a heaven for adults who love pop culture, they have everything that you can possibly imagine, and it’s one of my favorite stores because it has everything that I love in it and I can celebrate being an adult who loves everything nerdy. Another one of my favorite items is the Winnie the Pooh soup mug. I love soup and I love Pooh – Winnie the Pooh. And there will be a link to some of the curated items that I have found in the shop if you would like to purchase them, so check out the link in the description as well. This soup bowl would donate one meal. So as you can see they have tons and tons of nerdy T-shirts, all for grownups, they have a HUGE, huge selection of Harry Potter-related stuff. This Hedwig backpack! *Gasps* How cute is that? And he would donate 4 meals. Tell me in the comments which house you are in, I am personally a Hufflepuff. They have a huge selection of different Christmas sweaters as well for different fandoms, I personally really like this Home Alone sweater with Kevin on the front. “Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!” Friends! I was going to make a “I don’t have friends” joke, but I think I’ve overused that one. *Music* No, that was wrong! (Rae): YMCA! *Laughs* No! *Chloe laughs* (Chloe): Thank you! Hi. This is the lovely store manager here. She’s so lovely for letting me do this. (Rae and Chloe laughing) That’s me in the morning when I wake up. How cute is that? A boot, sketch, boot – handbag. Look, it’s a little sketch! BoxLunch’s mission this year is to donate another 1 million meals so let’s try and make this happen. There are so many ways you can give back this holiday season, whether it be to shop in your local BoxLunch store or on BoxLunch.com. Remember to check out my curated list online, it is in the description down below at BoxLunch.com. Another way that you can give back to the community is to donate food to different food drives. If you’re like me and you have a bunch of unused art supplies, you can also donate those as well. So just do your best to try and give back this holiday season because every person can make a difference. *Price checker beeps* So we just donated 35 meals. -These are yours. -Thank you very much. -You’re welcome. Thank you so much for your time! I really appreciate it. Thank you for coming! I appreciate you being here. So thank you so much again to BoxLunch for asking me to be a big part of this, thank you so much to the Florida Mall BoxLunch store, all the employees and the general manager who helped make this possible, and back to me in the studio… art space! *Music* Okay, so as I mentioned I decided to repaint over this particular piece because it’s one of my favorite scenes from Tangled and with all the fandom related stuff I was around in BoxLunch, I decided it was time to fix this. So take a good look at it because this is gonna look a lot different by the time I am done with it. Okay, so let me guess what you’re thinking. So your options are: A, Chloe, this is your best idea yet; B, Chloe, this is a stupid idea, what are you thinking; or C, why don’t you just paint on a different canvas? Well, I shall tell you. First things first, I actually painted this a couple of years ago. Look at the, uh, heh heh, “blend”. Yeah, there isn’t much of that there. You can kind of see a lot of the canvas poking through. So I realized while editing this that it actually looks better on camera than it did in person, it’s actually blurring a lot of the imperfections. Basically, you know when you paint on a canvas and you don’t put enough layers on, you don’t blend it well enough, a lot of the white pops through from the canvas? That was COVERING this painting. It was very, very half-done and kind of quick slapdash finished. So I wanted to just say, I’m not like, “Ooh, my work’s terrible!”, it does look better on camera than it does in person. So just take my word for it. It wasn’t as, um, clean-looking as it kind of looks on camera, I guess, so I’m just putting that in there as a disclaimer. And I used a lot of really cheap paint for that particular video and you know, I’m a total advocate for cheap paint but this particular paint was very watery and needed a lot of buildup and I just did not build it up like I should have done. And I basically decided to actually use my favorite paint, which is the Liquitex heavy body paint, all over this canvas so that I really gave it my best go to make it how I knew that I was capable of making it. I also did not spend very much time on it, it was kind of a rushed piece. So I thought it would be a really fun challenge to try my hand at painting over it and kind of, maybe more so actually fixing it and completing it because as you can see, I really didn’t finish it. I never classed this painting as fini- as finished. So you might be able to tell that by my half-assed attempt at not painting the edges. So I won’t lie, it was kind of cool to see how much I’ve progressed over the last couple of years with acrylic painting. If you didn’t know, I’ve done digital painting now for close to 10 years, but I actually did not start doing any form of traditional or acrylic painting until I basically started doing art on YouTube. I kind of had to adopt traditional work so I still quite knew when I made this at knowing how to work with acrylic paint, and I definitely feel that my style and choices have definitely changed. And while I wouldn’t normally choose to paint over a piece, I thought this was a great way to avoid wasting paint, wasting another canvas and also just get to finish/fix a piece that I never really liked that much. *Relaxing music* Something I definitely noticed was I really rushed the details on the original piece, I found I had to really reshape a lot of the actual structure of a lot of it and just blend it a lot better than I did before. The river was a mess! And apparently the two trees that were supposed to be there were actually just a large single blobby bush. I’m not sure why I decided to do that but blending is definitely something that comes with practice. I know my friend Rae says she doesn’t particularly like acrylic because they don’t blend as well as oils do. I found that myself when I was still learning to use it, but I definitely feel with time I’ve learned to blend a lot better than I used to be able to, and I’m still learning to master it but I think I could definitely tell, painting over my old strokes, I was definitely much better than I used to be. Now, I’m actually curious, if any of you notice a style for me with acrylic painting in regards to how I paint or blend or make strokes, I do tend to use a lot of blues and greens, but I feel like I’m having more of a distinctive style with my paintings now which I’m really excited about because it’s taken me a while to find my groove a little bit. But I feel like this year I’ve really taken more strides maybe, in making that happen, I don’t know. Let me know in the comments, I’m very, very curious, but for now I just want to say thank you so much again to BoxLunch for sponsoring this video today and for giving me the amazing opportunity to check out their store. Thank you again to the amazing store employees for letting me – to let me bug them! And – film in their store and they were just so, they were so wonderful, they were like, moving displays and allowing me to just have all this room. So they were really really cool. And again, thank you for watching this video because you’ve donated one meal just by clicking on it today, and make sure that you check out BoxLunch, BoxLunch.com if you want to help to donate a meal for every $10 you spend. Again, check out the link in the description because I have my curated gift guide list down there and yes, thank you so much for watching this video. I really hope that you enjoyed it. This is how it turned out, I’m really really happy, I think that I worked with the details a lot better than I did before. I had to fix up that tower a LOT, because I just, I did not do a good job on that tower whatsoever. I don’t know what I was doing with the windows, the weird triangle thing on the side that was also a room, didn’t do a good job with that so I did my best to fix it. But yeah, this is how it looks. Thank you for watching this video, let me know in the comments what you think of how it turned out, take care of yourselves and I will see you in the next video. *End music*

Still Not Speaking To Camera, This Might Help

Still Not Speaking To Camera, This Might Help

if you’re still waiting for the right
moment to start using video within your business you know when you’ve got enough
skill or knowledge or expertise and yet well here you are you still haven’t
started then in today’s video I’m going to be sharing a concept that might just
help you step through that keep watching hey Mike Blissett here founder of speak
like a pro online sharing ideas tools techniques to help you speak with more
confidence make better videos and grow your business on this channel you’ll see
book review tech and how-to videos just like this one so if you’re enjoying the
video remember to hit the like button and also if it’s your first time here
remember to also click the subscribe button and also the notification bell so
you get some out each and every time I upload a new video and in today’s video
I’m going to be looking at the area of failure to launch and particularly this
area of using video within your business now you know from all the statistics I
gave you in last week’s video and if you missed it just click the link here at
the top of the screen and be able to watch it again
that why now is a brilliant time to get into using videos whether you just want
to connect on a more regular and a deeper and a more sociable level with
your people your tribe your followers or subscribers whoever they might be able
whichever platform you might use or whether it is to be a greater service or
maybe you want to grow that tribe or maybe even put together something that
you can sell whether it’s a product or a service or an online course something
like that and yet because you haven’t quite got into video all that hasn’t
happened now there is a very famous old phase I use when I’m training at the
Coaching Academy and it’s this if you wait for the moment when everything is
ready you never begin and whilst we both know that that is probably the truth I
don’t want to leave you kind of high and dry there so I wanted to offer you something an idea that has certainly helped me through the years that hopefully is
going to help you moving into video and getting started and using a regular
video going forward and it’s this it doesn’t have to be good it just has to
be good enough I’ll say that one more times it’s a really short phrase it
doesn’t have to be good it just has to be good enough so just thinking about
where you are now just thinking about what equipment you have now you might be
watching this video on your laptop so chances are it’s got it’s got a little
camera at the top of it or you might be watching this video on your smartphone
whatever kind of smartphone it is and guess what it’s probably got a camera on
the back of it or you might have some fancier equipment and if you have
brilliant but here’s the thing it doesn’t matter what equipment you’ve got
it matters that you get in front of it and you tell your story and you make
your videos that’s what matters so just to be clear I’m making this on my iPhone
and it’s not the latest one it’s a few years old now
so I’m making it it’s an iPhone is it 10 10 s so it’s it’s not the latest one and
I’ve got an inexpensive little microphone here just to plug into the phone to make
the hopefully sound a little bit better and if you want to know what mic
this is and what kind of mic you can use for the equipment you’ve got including
your phone then click this link at the top of the screen I made a video just a
few months ago about the best mics you can use for your phones for your
camcorder for your cameras etc without spending a ton of money ok so click that
link there and you will find that video so the next thing that I guess might be
stopping you is you don’t have the right lights so just to say I’ve got a little
lighting ring in front of me just in front of my phone or around my phone
I’ve got this LED right here and the desktop right on on my desk obviously
and the whole thing all of those costed less than £200 or $200 and I’ll
leave those links to those pieces of equipment just below these this video in
the show notes so you can check them out to see how they make how they might fit
there’s so many options and I can tell you I’ve made a ton of videos where I’ve
just sat in front of the window in my house or in an office on not even a
sunny day just a day where it’s daylight outside and I’ve got the light there and
I’ve used that light and that has been enough so you don’t actually have to buy
any lights at all to make really good videos where you can share your skill
your knowledge your expertise your story etc with your audience so we’ve talked
about the equipment so your camera mic if you have any lighting if you have any
or even need it so we talked about that stuff you don’t have to spend a ton of
money and so what else could it be what could be the reason that you haven’t yet
begun using video in the way that you’d like to could it be that it’s the skill
or the knowledge of the experience or maybe the confidence that comes from
having the skill the knowledge and the experience and I know that they’re both
kind of interlinked so if it is the skill the knowledge and the experience
you might know from the video last week I mentioned that I had some free online
training coming up where I’m gonna spend an hour or so with you just to help you
with that so show you how to put a video together what to say how to make an
intro storyboard you know just put information together so it makes sense a
beginning a middle and an end hello this is what it is and goodbye at
the end of it that kind of system so you can make videos once you know that
system you just slot into the middle bit the information bit time and time again
what you want to talk about that day and that could be reviews that could be
commenting on things that could be telling people about your day it could
be training I mean there’s just so many things so if you want to learn that
you’ll see the website address where you can register it is on the screen here
and even after the video is finished there’s a there’s a clickable link just
below this video and right at the top of the show notes so you can book on one of
those free online trainings I’m going to be several over than
few weeks and so you can find the skill the knowledge and the expertise how to
make a video information that you might need you know in order for you to be
able to sit in front of the camera or stand in front of the camera and so all
I can say after having made consistent videos every week over the last two
years is that it helps it really helps in terms of you getting more comfortable
with more friendly with more easy with your camera whether it is your phone or
a fancy DSLR whatever it is camera with all the lenses it’s great it doesn’t
matter it’s your relationship with it and if you’ve got a good relationship
with your camera chances are your business will reflect that so if you
want to do something about it and you’re up for a bit of a challenge then copy
this link just on the screen now and if you want to use the clickable link is
just below this video so when I finished just click the link in the show notes
just below this video and you’ll be taken to a page on my website where you
can find out some more about the online training and you can register for your
place as well as to say it’s free so question of the day what kind of videos
would you like to make I know you know just just put aside all the insecurity
or nervousness or not being sure and just share if you could do anything you
wanted to do what kind of videos would you make leave your answers in the
comments box below if you’ve got any questions leave them there as well and
if you have enjoyed the video remember hit the like button and also if it’s
