How to Edit Digital Images : How Do You Crop Images & Pictures?

Hello, my name is Luis Estrada and I am a
Software Developer. In this video, I’ll show you how to crop images and pictures. I’m using
Adobe Photoshop CS2. Photoshop is a registered trademark of Adobe, a company to which I have
no affiliation. Select the crop tool or press C on your keyboard. Now place your mouse arrow
on the upper left side of the image and drag to the lower right side. If you’re left handed,
it might be easier if you drag from the upper right hand corner and drag to the left bottom
instead. What remains inside the box would be the new image. Whatever is outside the
rectangle will be discarded. You can leave the selection rectangle, turn it. Notice the
small circle in the middle of the rectangle. This is the pivotal point use to turn the
selection. If I change its position and then the rectangle again, you see that rotation
is different. You can make the selection bigger or smaller, by clicking and dragging from
any of the small rectangles. If you de-select the perspective option, rotation is reset.
The shield option creates a mask around the selection by changing the opacity value, the
surrounding color is stronger or lighter. You can also select the surrounding color
by clicking on this button and then selecting a new color. When you’re done with the cropping,
you can press the escape key to discard it or press enter to apply it. I’m Luis Estrada and I’ve just showed you
how to edit your digital images.
